It has a life of its own
The cat doesn't wait for commands. It's busy being a cat — you just happen to be there.
It gets to know you
"I want to know you better! 😸" — that's how the first day starts. The cat asks your name and what you do, and you get to pick a name for it.
After that it remembers: what you're working on, what you like, what you keep coming back to. It knows your mornings and evenings, notices habits — which app you open at this hour — and builds little rituals around them.
Your bond has ten levels, and the cat behaves a little differently at each one.
Memory that never reaches the cloud
Everything the cat knows about you stays on your computer. The language model runs locally too — there is nowhere to send your messages, because Mewmori has no server.
Memory is split by source: conversations and screen are switched on separately. Don't want it remembering? Turn it off — the cat stays the same.
The model is 1.5 GB and downloads only when you first want to talk. Without it the cat is still fully alive.

🙈 Hide-and-seek
The cat vanishes to a random spot on screen and turns almost transparent. Find it and poke it before the time runs out.
🖱️ Chase
It hunts your cursor: stalks in an arc, freezes, aims and leaps ahead of where you're going. The leap can't be corrected — so you can still dodge at the last moment.
🌿 Garden expeditions
The cat walks off to the garden gate, heads out on an expedition and comes back with loot.
There are achievements too: "First click", "Night owl" for opening the menu after midnight, "You fell for it!" for that fake error, and "Loyal friend" for the tenth launch.
It needs looking after
The cat gets hungry, its mood shifts, and it has a goal for the day. Feed it its favourite fish and it'll be far happier than with a plain snack.
Personality and chattiness are adjustable — from a quiet flatmate to a cat that has an opinion about everything. So is its size, from tiny to large.
Eleven cats and a full wardrobe
The classic cat comes with the app. The rest — folds, siamese, lynx and black — unlock with a single purchase, forever, along with crowns, hats and wings.

Does it really see my screen?
It looks at what's happening in the active window and decides how to behave and what to say. All of it happens on your computer: screenshots, window text and file names are never transmitted. Details are in the privacy policy.
What exactly does it remember?
Facts about you, preferences, projects and plans — the things that let it pick up a conversation a week later. Memory is stored locally and split by source: conversations and screen can be toggled separately, and anything remembered can be reviewed and deleted.
Why download 1.5 GB?
That's the language model for conversations, and it runs on your computer rather than in the cloud — hence the size. It downloads only with your consent, and only when you first want to talk; you can tap "later" and live with the cat without it.
Will it get in the way of work?
Chattiness is adjustable, and if you need complete silence, send the cat to sleep in the menu bar from its menu. It comes back when you call.
Will it drain my battery?
Most of the time the cat is just animating and computing next to nothing. The load appears while the model answers you — and ends with the answer.
What does it cost?
The app is free, and so are the classic cat and all the games. Only extra skins and accessories are paid, from 99 ₽, bought once and working on all your Macs. Full list is on the pricing page.
Do I need an account?
No. There is no sign-up at all: a purchase is tied to a licence key that can be restored by the email address used at checkout.
