Privacy policy

This is a translation provided for convenience. In case of any discrepancy, the Russian version prevails.
This policy describes what data is processed when you use the Mewmori app and the mewmori.com website. The data controller is Maksim Vladimirovich Grishutin, TIN 325403525219, email support@mewmori.com.
In short. Your screen contents and your conversations with the cat stay on your computer — the language model runs locally and there is nowhere to send them. The only data we receive about a buyer is the email address given at checkout.
1. What is not collected
- Screen contents. The app analyses which window is active entirely on your device. Screenshots, window text and file names are never transmitted and never stored on any server.
- Conversations with the cat. The language model runs on your computer. Your messages and the cat's replies are stored locally only and never leave the device.
- Card details. They are entered on the payment provider's side and are never passed to the controller.
2. What is processed
2.1. When you buy
- the email address given at checkout;
- the list of purchased items, the payment identifier and amount, the purchase date;
- for purchases in Telegram — the numeric Telegram account identifier.
Purpose: issuing the licence key, re-issuing it when a purchase is restored,
sending the receipt, support and handling refund requests.
Legal basis: performance of the agreement concluded under the
public offer, and the consent given when you enter your email address
in the payment form.
2.2. When you contact support
The text of your message and the contact to reply to (email address or Telegram account). Feedback sent from the app is delivered to the controller as a Telegram message and contains no user identifiers beyond what you write yourself.
2.3. Technical app statistics
The app uses Firebase Crashlytics and Firebase Analytics (Google) to collect crash reports and anonymised usage statistics: app and macOS version, device model, launches and screen openings, and a generated installation identifier. This data is not linked to a buyer's email address and does not reveal screen contents or conversations.
Legal basis: the controller's legitimate interest in keeping the app working.
2.4. When you visit the website
The site is static, has no forms, and uses no analytics counters or advertising cookies of its own. The hosting provider (GitHub Pages) records the IP address and request headers in technical logs, which is necessary to operate and protect the service.
3. Who the data is shared with
- Robokassa LLC — payment processing: handles the buyer's email address, the amount and the order parameters;
- Cloudflare, Inc. — hosting of the licence-issuing service;
- Telegram Messenger Inc. — delivery of keys and support messages, Telegram Stars payments;
- Google LLC — Firebase Crashlytics and Analytics;
- GitHub, Inc. — hosting of the website and app files;
- public authorities — only in the cases and to the extent required by law.
Data is never sold, never passed to ad networks and never used for mailings unrelated to a purchase.
4. Retention
Purchase records (email address and list of items) are kept indefinitely, for as long as the right to restore a purchase exists, or until consent is withdrawn. Support requests are kept for up to one year. Crash reports are kept in line with Firebase's policy — up to 90 days.
5. Your rights
You may request information about the processing of your data, ask for it to be corrected, blocked or deleted, and withdraw your consent. Write to support@mewmori.com; requests are handled within 30 days.
Deleting your email address means purchases made with it can no longer be restored — keep your licence key in that case.
Crash reports and statistics can be switched off in the app's settings.
6. Security
Data travelling between the app, the website and the payment service is transmitted over TLS. Only the controller has access to purchase records.
7. Children
The app is not directed at children under 14 and does not knowingly collect data about them.
8. Changes
The current version is always published on this page, with its date at the top. Material changes are additionally announced in the app.
